Are you based in or around Newcastle Upon Tyne? Artist Ducky Elford and BxNU—a collaborative arts partnership between Northumbria, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen Universities—are looking for local residents to help shape a groundbreaking new interactive artwork. Commissioned through a public citizen jury to explore themes of control, power, and algorithmic filter bubbles, this project transforms everyday human stories into a dynamic digital world where every interaction alters the surrounding environment. We are inviting local participants to be 3D-scanned, interviewed, and featured as interactive AI-driven characters within the game. The finished work, featuring custom physical controllers and interconnected artworks created in collaboration with artist Owen Logan, will be showcased at Gallery North in Newcastle.
